Two years ago, a peaceful and prosperous dwarven settlement suddenly sealed itself up and became a ghost town. Fearing the worst, its nearest neighbours sent an armed expedition to find out why.

It reminds me slightly of

It reminds me slightly of Lord of the Rings, and the story about Moria. But very good writing even though it's seems to be very dark. I quite like it and can't wait to read the next chapter.
