Natural Life
Anne B. Walsh

In the decade called the Texting Twenties, young men and women all over the world suddenly begin to transform into animals. To keep the American public safe from them, the therianthropes, or beast-people, who survive their first change are sent to a compound called Sanctuary, high in the Colorado Rockies, where the only law is the law of the wild.

A young reporter named Amy Pelham wonders if the government might not be wrong in how it treats theris. There have always been stories about passers, people who are hiding that they're theris, and how could they do that if theris stopped being human at their first change? Seeking answers, she comes too close to the truth for the comfort of the powerful, and gets the scoop of her life: the chance to see how Sanctuary really works.

From the inside.

Natural Life includes violence and frightening situations. Suggested readers are teens to adults.

I can't believe that after Perry hitting that bear, nobody's made the inevitable "FALCON PUNCH!" joke.

That said, can't wait to see more.

I have been taking the opportunity of being stuck at work on a computer with nothing to actually do and have been re-reading everything of yours. I realized that I hadn't reviewed and so I wanted to say that I really love what you are doing with Natural life. I read the original and it was fantastic but this tightens up ideas, puts in more conflict and the characters are all beautifully created. I really love it and can't wait to see where it goes!

This was a great view into the lives of those trying to do something for the ones inside the sanctuary.
As it is with many wrongdoings in this world.....you know that wrong things are happening but trying to solve it alone is neigh impossible.
