The Redstone Chronicles
Anne B. Walsh and James Jago

Alex Redstone, a young wizard of the thirteenth century struggling to escape his father's evil magic, and his friend Moxie, a brownie bound to serve the Redstone family, accept the offer of a mysterious stranger to send them where, or rather when, Baron Redstone cannot find them. Neither of them expects the date of their arrival.

Meanwhile, in twenty-first-century London, receptionist/singer Helen Morrow and computer repairman/webmaster Jake Grey make plans to meet for lunch, to celebrate the sales of Helen's songs for the month. On her way to the restaurant, Helen sees a young man and a little girl appear in the middle of the street; they look confused, and don't seem to notice the bus bearing down on them...

The Redstone Chronicles includes strong language, violence, and suggestive situations. Suggested readers are older teens to adults.

Me likes, Me likes lots. Only the second chapter and I've already been sucked into it! Loved the way Moxie interacts with everyone (that sounded way to technical to me). Read more soon...

I'm enjoying the real life parallels (oh come on, you know our Alex would say that!). Solid start to a story. I was worried it would be too similar to other stories I've read, but it's really good.
